Mauricio is pretty well known for his Music Video work - he shot over120 of them. As a commercial films director he worked for clients like Nike, VW, Yamaha, Sony, Fiat, Nestle, Warner Lambert and Kraft and agencies as J. W. Thompson, Almap/BBDO, Ogilvy, Y&R and Dentsu in Brazil and other Sulamerican countries.

Mauricio has also directed TV shows, short films, documentaries and is involved in 3 feature films projects: "Memories" (Emporte Films production, in pre production stage), "Mamonas Assassinas" (financing stage) and Apneia (script development stage).

Awards - Music Video: 4 times MTV's VMB Best Music Video of the Year Award; Multishow Best Music Video of the Year Award (2005); Nickelodeon Best Music Video of the year Award (2005); finalist at Rio Cine Festival and, according to MTV, "Diario de um Detento" for Brazilian rap band Racionais MC is one of the 3 best Brazilian Music Videos ever.

Awards - Commercial films: Silver Medal in NY Festival, Gold Medal at Mexican Eagles Award, Bronze in London Festival among several prestigious Brazilian awards as the Colunistas (press), Gold Lamp in Rio Festival, About, and so on.
